Frequently Asked Questions to your psychotherapist

How many times do I need to come to therapy sessions?

You and I will collaborate and design a customized treatment plan to suit your specific needs. The plan will include length of treatment and frequency of therapy sessions. Usually clients come to sessions once every week. Treatment could be long term or short term, depending on the your goals and individual case formulation.

I have insurance but it is not one of those you accept. Does it mean that I have to pay the full fee?

Not necessarily. Please contact your insurance company to find out how much you can claim for each out-of-network therapy session. They will tell you how to file the claims for reimbursements. 

This is my first time going to therapy. What do I need to do to get ready?

Just show up in therapy sessions and start your journey. Your commitment to make positive changes in your life will set the process in motion.
